helter skelter
built from fragments of balconies found throughout paris, the series explores repetition as both an architectural and psychological language. removed from their original function, the structures begin to lose their sense of place and instead exist as shifting geometric forms suspended between sculpture and image. the use of red, violet, and yellow creates a tension between warmth, distance, and intensity, allowing colour to function not only as surface, but as emotional structure itself.
